The Operation Stand Down Mid South (OSDM) Board of Directors is a very dynamic  group.  Their life journeys began in many parts of the country, starting in the mid south (AR, MS, TN), as well as, California, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.

 Service to their country took them to many parts of the world including Germany, Vietnam, Bosnia, Horn of Africa, Panama, Somalia, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Egypt. Their combined service in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force totaled more than 120 years.  Their ranks include Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), 1 Captain, 1 Major, and 2 Lieutenant Colonels.  Their responsibilities ranged from Combat Squad Leader to Brigade Commander; from aircraft electronics technician to Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Launch Officer.
